This love story begins on a summer evening—July 25, 2024—at a happy hour supporting Dallas CASA, a cause close to both of our hearts as we are both members of Dallas CASA Young Professionals. The event was held at a little bar called Life is Good, and as it turns out, life was about to get very good.

As the large group gradually thinned, we found ourselves continuing the night—sharing a Campisi's pizza at the bar at Time Out Tavern, deep in conversation. Unbeknownst to Wynn, Maddie was already texting her mom: “I just met my husband.”

As Wynn now knows... Maddie is usually right. And this time, thankfully, she was!

“When you know, you know” has never felt more true. From the very beginning, something felt different—what we were beginning to experience was a love that was unconditional. As Wynn puts it, he’s never met anyone as loyal and fun as Maddie. And Maddie would say she’s never met someone as genuinely good to their core as Wynn. God has truly blessed us with a love far greater than we could have ever imagined.

From that night on, we haven’t spent much time apart. We've adventured together to New York, Nashville, Austin, Fredericksburg, Santa Fe, Sea Island, New Orleans, Charleston, and Jackson Hole—collecting memories (and probably a few too many photos of Charlie) along the way. Speaking of Charlie, one of our favorite milestones has been bringing home our sweet Cavalier puppy, who quickly stole both of our hearts—and most of the sofa, despite weighing only 20 pounds.

We’re so excited to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate it with all of you in the wild west town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming!
